A BRIGHT FUTURE

Allowing yourself to get into a comfortable position… Relaxing your mind and body with every breath that you take… There is no need to think or no need to worry… When you are feeling comfortable, I want you to take three deep breaths in and out… Good… Allowing yourself to sink into the chair with each exhale and on the third breath, just allow your eyes to gently close over. Good…

 

Now I want you to visualise a large open spaced room… This room makes you feel so calm and the walls are painted a soothing sky-blue colour… There are four walls and four doors to this room… I want you to walk over to a door that you feel drawn to… When you’ve selected a door and are standing in front of this door, just let me know by nodding your head… Good… Now go ahead and open that door. Behind this door you will find a very big, white, soft and puffy cloud… This cloud has been waiting upon your arrival and has been specifically tailored to your needs in this journey… I would like you to hop onto the cloud, sitting or lying in any position that makes you feel comfortable. It’s as if you are on a big king-sized bed with lots and lots of fluffy pillows, more comfortable than you could’ve imagined… This cloud has vowed to keep you safe throughout your journey, and if at any time you feel uncomfortable or unsure, you can ask the cloud to take you to a special place that makes you happy and calm…

 

As you sit comfortably on this cloud, you feel it begin to slowly float towards a certain direction… The cloud leads you to a specific flagpole with a safety harness attached to the base on the pole. Also attached to the pole is a flag with a specific symbol or image… I want you to take a look at the symbol or image, allowing it to naturally appear on its own… Notice it and picture the symbol or imagine it in your mind. When you can see the symbol or image, just let me know by nodding your head… Well done… Now… I want you to take a step off the cloud and put the harness on and around your body, tightening the harness now and when you are ready, I want you to allow yourself to float up to find your current and present timeline… You will not be travelling up alone as the big, white puffy cloud will be with you along the entire way. Remembering that this cloud will keep you safe and protected and will take you whenever you need to go whenever you need a break from the journey… So if at any time you feel the need to, you can simply hop onto your cloud and gently float away…

 

Now that you have floated up, take a look to the left of you from where you are from the flagpole, and there you will notice a series of lights… These lights indicate the situations and events in your life… Go back to the first light and you will find yourself in a recent positive experience where you felt (insert relevant positive emotions that client would like to achieve in present time)… Just observe, feel the feelings for a short time and observe again…(Pause, allowing client to visualise)

 

Taking with you the positive feelings of that experience you just re-lived as we continue on the journey… Now coming back, traveling back to the flag pole, I want you to look to your right this time… Notice the lights as they continue for a long while… There is a bright light that catches your eye, and it’s not too far ahead… I would like you to make your way to that light that which indicates a significant time or event in your near future where you are experiencing pure happiness and success (you may add relevant emotions that the client would like to achieve)… As you reach the bright light, you find yourself fully experiencing that specific time, event or scene…. Notice the scene and observe it fully… Notice how you are feeling and what is happening…

 

  • What’s happening in this time, event or scene?
  • Where are you?
  • Are you alone? Are there others with you?
  • What are you wearing?
  • How old do you feel yourself to be?
  • How are you feeling?

 

Well done… You’re doing so well…And now…I want you to take a photo of that time, event or scene and place it in your pocket… Look back now to the flagpole from where you are and you will see the lights rearranging themselves in order for that event to happen in your future… I want you to travel back to the present moment, back to the flagpole and have a look at how the lights have rearranged themselves. Good… Now… have a look at the flag on the pole… Notice the symbol or image that is on the flag and see whether it has stayed the same or if it has changed… When you notice the symbol or image, just let me know by nodding your head… Good…

 

Now in a moment I am going to count from 1 to 10 and on the count of 10 you will awaken feeling fully alert, refreshed and rejuvenated… Bringing back with you the new positive perceptions that you have gained from this experience as your subconscious mind rearranges its thoughts in order to suit and match the future that you would like to create for yourself.

 

Trust in yourself…Trusting that you will be able to fully achieve whatever it is you would like to achieve in your life, and knowing that if at any time you feel unsure about your future, you can simply close your eyes and visualise a positive situation that you would like to create for yourself. A simple positive visualisation can work wonders… You are (add relevant resources) and maintaining your positive mindset will create inevitable positive and successful results. You have always had the capacity to achieve whatever it is you desire, and you possess the exact willpower and determination needed to reach your goals. On the count of 10, your body will return to its natural state of being worry and stress free. You will feel stronger and gain more confidence within yourself as you go on with your day to day life. And from every day, in every way… it gets better and better and better…

 

Wake Up
