Just settling back into the chair, adjusting your body as you need to, getting comfortable. Take as much time as you need. Allowing your eyes to gently close over. And relax. Taking a few deep breaths, allow your lungs to expand, and the breath to move down towards your belly. Relax. Breathing in relaxation, peace, and calm. Breathing out tension and stress. And as you continue to take a few deep breaths, know that there is no where you need to be, nothing you need to do, and that you can just let go, you can simply ‘be’. All you need to do is to listen to the sound of my voice and to allow it to take you on a journey. This journey is a healing journey, a journey of opportunity, and it is perfectly safe. You will effortlessly be in control the whole time. You will know that I am guiding you, and that your guides, your higher self, and your inner wisdom will be guiding you. And this will happen easily and effortlessly. You may know, or you may not know, but your subconscious mind knows exactly what you need, what’s in your best interests, and how to navigate this journey. You may wonder just what you will learn through this journey, what the opportunities will be for growth, for healing, for the opportunity to see things in a new way, to alter your perceptions in a ways that serve you, serve your current life, serve all your lives to come, and in fact, serve your soul’s journey.

So, letting go now. Taking a few more deep breaths. And as you do, you might notice the sounds around you. You might hear voices, traffic, dogs barking, birds, or something else. And the sounds may be close by, or far away. And you may notice that the sounds are fading into the background, as you don’t need to focus on them. All you need to do is to focus on the sounds of my voice. And relax. And the more you relax, the more your body relaxes, as it so easily does, the more your mind will relax, effortlessly.

Listening to my voice now, I wonder if you notice how easily you can release the tension in your toes, your feet, and your ankles. Doing that now, relaxing your toes, feet, ankles, and allowing that relaxation to move up your calves, loosening and relaxing the knees and moving up and releasing any tension in the thighs. Those legs feeling heavy, relaxed, peaceful. And now the relaxation moves up through the buttocks, the pelvis and through the stomach. Softening, releasing, relaxing, letting go. Feeling peaceful, so calm, so relaxed. And the relaxation moves up the spine, loosening, calming the body. The energy of relaxation moving up and across the shoulders, so relaxed, so peaceful, so much ease spreading through the body and mind. Relaxation moving down the arms now, into the elbows, forearms, wrists, and fingers. And it feels so good to let go, to allow, to feel the heaviness, ease, peace, and relaxation through the body. Relaxation moving up the neck and into the throat, jaw, face. Smoothing the tension from the forehead, the eyes. So calm, so relaxed, safe, easy. The relaxation spreading over your scalp, calming your mind.

And as you relax, and your mind continues to relax, to calm, to slow, to move into a state of consciousness that is perfect to explore the past, we will begin a wonderful journey, one which will firstly take you back to a happy childhood memory, an early happy memory from this life. And then we will rewind further. We’ll go back into the womb, sometime between your conception and before your birth. And when you’re ready, when your subconscious mind is ready, as it will easily and effortlessly be, we will go back even further, to another lifetime. A lifetime it would be beneficial for you to explore, a lifetime that your guides, your inner wisdom, your higher self will guide you to, and a journey I will guide you through the whole way.


Now relaxing the body even further, starting now at the top of the head and allowing any traces of tension to ease out with the breath. Take a moment and just breathe out any last remnants of tension as you scan your body from head down to your toes. Good. And now, imagine a warm blanket placed over you, and with the weight of the blanket, the warmth of the blanket, you feel safe, secure, and so deeply relaxed.
And you know that you can relax even further. You might be curious just how relaxed you can be. As you wonder, imagine you’re sitting, or lying comfortably on a couch, looking into an open fire. And the flames are mesmerizing and leave you feeling so sleepy, so cozy, so relaxed. And as you watch the flames, you find yourself counting backwards. And while you’re not sure why, it feels perfectly right to do this, and so you start counting backwards, each number taking you deeper and deeper into your subconscious mind. Ten, flames flickering, 9, peaceful, calming, 8, 7, 6, taking you deeper, 5, more relaxed, 4, calm, easy, safe, 3, deeper, more peaceful, 2, tension releasing, 1, deeper and deeper. And as you continue to count, you imagine raindrops outside the window that you can so easily see from your position on the couch. The raindrops remind you that there is nowhere you need to be, nothing you need to do, that you can let go, relax on the couch and allow your mind to take you on a journey. Raindrops rolling down the glass. Fifteen, raindrops slowly moving down, 14, moving down, 13, deeper and deeper, 12, 11, 10, slowly moving down, 9, 8, letting go, down, down, 7, 6, 5, deeper, more relaxed, 4, drops moving down into the subconscious mind, 3, 2, drops sliding down, deeper and deeper, and 1, noticing how deeply relaxed you are, and knowing that with every word I say, with the sound of my voice, you will continue to go deeper still.

Safe Place

So, in this deeply relaxed state, you notice just how safe you feel on the couch, with the warmth of the fire coming from the fireplace, and the comfort of the raindrops sliding down the outside of the windowpane. And you know that if you want to, at any stage, you can simply come back to this couch and know you are safe, secure, and always in control. The choice is always yours, the choice to participate, or to observe the events and the experience of the past through the window while you sit or lie on the couch. The choice is yours. You are always in control.

Mode of Transport

From your position on the couch, you notice that to the side of the room there’s a portal. This portal is completely safe and is available only to you. No one else can use this portal. This portal is a very special portal that will allow you to step through space and time. And whenever you are in this portal, or stepping through this portal, you are completely safe, completely in control of when and where you are going. And in fact, your guides and higher self will ensure you step through the portal to the destination you want to reach, the destination that is the best time and place to visit for your highest good, for your growth, development, learning and healing.


So, start to approach this portal and in a moment, you will step through, knowing you can come back to the couch in front of the fire at any time you choose. You will step through the portal and find yourself at a happy time in your childhood. It might be a memorable event, or just a happy, enjoyable day when you were around 3, 4 or 5 years old. Approaching the portal now. 7, 6, 5, stepping through, 4, 3, 2, to a happy early childhood experience and 1.. Be there now!

As you move into the situation, notice any images, sensations, and knowing to come into your awareness. Notice what’s happening around you, who’s with you, and how you feel. You may be able to see this situation, or you may just have a sense of what is happening, a sense of knowing. There is no right way to experience this. However, the information comes is perfect.

In a moment I’m going to ask you some questions. You will be able to answer me easily and effortlessly. You will communicate clearly and with the sound of your voice, you will go deeper and deeper into this experience.

• What is happening?
• How old do you feel yourself to be?
• Are there others with you or are you alone?
• What are you wearing?
• Are your surroundings familiar?
• Describe these surroundings.
• How are you feeling?

Now, bringing those feelings of [include positive feelings identified] with you as you move back towards the portal, knowing you will bring all of these positive feelings with you as we continue on your journey, knowing you will have access to them always. Moving back towards the portal now.


As you step through the portal this time, continuing your journey backwards, you will be stepping back into your mother’s womb. This will be some time after your conception, and before your birth. And you may notice that this experience is one that is more sensory, less visual. After all, there’s not so much to see in your mother’s womb. As you step through the portal, relaxing, going deeper to this special time, this time you are preparing to come into this lifetime. 7, 6, deeper still, 5, 4, back into the womb, 3, 2, 1 … in the womb. Be there now!


• Is it light or dark?
• Are you aware of any colours?
• Do you feel cramped or is there plenty of room? (suggest they adjust themselves to feel more comfortable if cramped)
• You may be more aware of your mother her and be able to connect with her. What is she experiencing with regards to this pregnancy?
• Can you connect with how she’s feeling? How is she feeling? (If good, next question, if not:)
o Can you influence her feelings? Try to reassure her.
o How is she feeling now?
o If still not positive… I would like you to surround yourself with a cocoon of white light, one that allows all you need in, but provides a barrier to any of your mother’s (insert feelings). This will stay with you while you are in the womb and as for as long as it serves you.

• Why are you coming into this lifetime?

You’re doing so well. As you leave this experience of being in your mother’s womb, you are now going to approach and step through the portal once again.

Past Life

This time you will move away from this current lifetime. You will move through the portal, with its ability to move you outside liner time and space, to take you out of this dimension and to allow you to explore another lifetime, one that is beneficial for you visit and to review. You will do this easily, safely, and you will be directed by your guides, your higher self, and your infinite wisdom. This experience may allow you access to talents, gifts, and abilities that you may choose to hold onto, and to bring back into your current life. It may allow you to gain new perspectives and understanding and in so doing, you have opportunity to heal and to be free of the influences of this life that you will visit very soon.

So, stepping up to the portal now, and as you move through you will find the journey easy, smooth, safe, tranquil. Stepping through now. 7, going back to another lifetime, 6, 5, going deeper and deeper as you go back in time, 4, 3, safe, in control, easy, 2, deeper, further back, and 1…Be there now!

Allow yourself some time to let the images, sensations, feelings, or just a knowing of this lifetime become clearer. Let if get clearer. Allow it to unfold. And when you’re ready, imagine that you’re looking down at your feet.

You can easily move backwards and forwards through this lifetime, allowing you to explore experiences, memories, events or emotions that feel significant or important in helping you to gain insight, for learning, healing and development. Now take a moment to reflect on the talents, gifts, and abilities you had in that lifetime. What were you particularly good at? What did people say were your gifts and talents? If you choose to, you can move into a scene where you are experiencing these gifts, talents and abilities and reclaim them to bring back with you. Nod if you would like to. Ok, do this now and when you are finished, say ‘finished’. Great. Well done.

Death and afterlife

So, having reflected on that lifetime, are you now ready to let go of that body and that life? Good. And as you let go of that body, you also let go of everything you no longer need, leaving it all in that lifetime. As you leave that body, that lifetime, you leave behind any trauma, illness, any negative beliefs, and emotions that no longer serve you, that won’t serve you beyond that life. And as you move away from this 3rd dimensional experience, describe the journey to me..

Post hypnotic suggestions and wake up

As you leave that experience and move back towards the portal, you are preparing to come back to the current time, the current place. And as I count from 1 to 10 you will start to wake. You will awaken remembering all the lessons learned from that lifetime, brining all the gifts, talents, and abilities you became aware of with you. You will wake refreshed, full of energy and free from any trauma and negative emotion associated with that life. You will retain the clarity, wisdom and insights that serve you, integrating them into your conscious knowing and allowing this to positively guide and support your current life, your current behaviour, your current relationships, and your current relationship to yourself. When you next sleep, and over the coming days you will continue to integrate all you have learned, aligning you more strongly with your higher self, with your authentic self. You will feel empowered and equipped to make choices aligned with your soul’s purpose and you will be able to connect with your intuitive knowing. Your dreams will serve to reinforce all you have learned, your knowledge and healing. So, leaving behind all trauma and negative emotion associated with that life, you will now start to come back to full waking consciousness, feeling alert and with the knowledge that you have had many human lives that have provided you with experiences to learn, evolve and live in a way aligned with your higher self, with your purpose. Every day, in every way, it will get better and better.
