Introduction of choice 

Deepener of choice 

Now I want you to imagine you are sitting in a big comfortable chair……this chair is so soft that it feels like you are sitting on a cloud…. This chair is in the most beautiful, calming room you have ever seen…. ….. it is a place where you feel safe and secure…. picture this place…. visualise yourself there……. you can hear wonderful relaxing music playing in the background…. feel the texture of the chair… feel how soft and lovely it feels…. listen to the music and notice that it brings a feeling of calmness….imagine beautiful paintings on the wall…..serene paintings of beaches and mountains…..……this is a place where you love to be….where you feel so safe…..at any time during this session, you can return to this serene room if you need to…..you can return to this room by touching your elbow as I am touching it now…..you can let me know that you have returned to this peaceful room by saying “here” or nodding your head…..if you find that you do not want to return to the memory you were having, that’s ok….you can sit in the big comfy chair and watch this memory on a big screen and feel like you are watching a movie…..you will be watching as a spectator, but you will still be learning what you need to from this scene. 

Now…while you are in this room you notice a book sitting next to your chair, you pick it up and start to read it….the first page has the word CONFIDENCE on it…..you watch as the word floats off the page and lands on your heart….your heart absorbs this word….you go to the second page and it shows the word SELF-BELIEF…the same thing happens with this word also…you keep going through the book and watch as following words are absorbed by your heart, CLARITY…..STRENGTH……. EMPOWERMENT……. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE…… UNDERSTANDING…… WISDOM…. and PEACE……. These resources are now part of you……and you will take them with you on our journey today and also into your future life journey. (Modify/Add any other resources required) 

Now, I want you to imagine you are floating up into the sky………once you are as high as what is comfortable for you…. I want you look down…. you see a signpost with a harness attached……. put on this harness and take notice of what the symbol or words are on this signpost…….once you have done this you realise there is a backpack sitting next to the signpost..… you pick up this backpack on put it on……. now, while you are floating with your harness and backpack on…… you look beyond this signpost a see a row of beautiful glowing candles………these candles indicate situations or events in your future………now, I want you to go to the furthest away candle……. this candle is the time in your future that you will achieve…. (goal discussed earlier). I want you to float down into this candle……. you are completely safe…this is a special type of candle…it will not harm you in any way…now, as you float into this candle…… you transform into this future situation……. I want you to be in that moment……experience the thoughts and feelings you are having when you experience…. (goal) 

Take a moment to live through this event and give me a nod of the head when you are done…. Great…… now look inside your backpack…. you find an instant camera……take it out……. now, I want you to take a photo of this time……. a photo that captures how you are feeling and thinking…. this camera prints the photo immediately…. take this photo and the camera and put them in your backpack…now I want you to come back to the signpost……… I want you to look at this row of candles……. go to the candle that signifies a future situation or experience that contains a choice you made……. a choice that led you to the experience of the final candle where you achieved ……. (goal)…. I want you to float down into this candle…… remember you are safe…this candle cannot harm you in any way…as you float into this candle…. you transform into this situation……. I want you to be in that moment…….re-live this experience…….give me a nod of the head when you have finished…. ok, you are doing so well…. now, I want you to get out the camera and take another photo that shows you what you need to do to achieve your goal of ……(goal)……...now put this photo and the camera in the backpack……. 

Excellent……now I want you to come back to the signpost again……. look again at the row of candles……. I want you to go to the candle that is closest in your future………float down to this safe candle…. and go to this experience that indicates what action you need to take next to achieve this goal of …. (goal)………. Be in this moment……. relive the feelings, thoughts, and choices you make…….let me know when you are done by nodding your head…. Fantastic…… take a photo to signify the actions and choices you have taken in this moment………… 

Now I want you to come back to the signpost once again………. now when you look at the candles you see an extra bright candle……. go to this candle and float into it………. go into this experience…. now you find yourself sitting at a desk…… feel yourself sitting at this desk……take off the backpack…… lay it on top of the desk…. open the backpack……take out the photos you have taken of your future experiences……. place these photos on the desk…….position them in order of time on the desk………take a few moments to study these photos………absorb the actions and choices depicted in the photos……take as long as you need………. nod your head when you have finished…. wonderful…. 

Now I want you to leave the backpack and photos on the desk………. come back to the signpost for the final time…….. leaving all your feelings and thoughts with those photos……. accept the feelings of anticipation and optimism………. now float above the signpost……. look at the row of glowing candles………notice now that some of the candles are moving around……. changing position…….some of these candles have even gone out…. while others are glowing more brightly…… this indicates the processes and experiences that are required for you to achieve your goal of …. (goal)…….you now feel so confident and empowered……. knowing your goal of …. (goal) is becoming a reality……. look at the signpost now…….take notice of what symbols or words are written on it…….. 

You have done an amazing job………. now I want you to unbuckle your harness………begin to float back down to the present time……bringing with you all the resources and tools that you need to achieve your goal of …..(goal)……….these tools and resources are available to you at any time………all you need to do is just picture the row of candles in your mind……….coming back to the present time now……..but first…take a few moments to absorb the experience and lessons you have just had……….when you are ready to continue……just nod your head……..
